State Service Credit Union was chartered on February 28th, 1944 as a not for profit cooperative to provide personalized, efficient, low cost financial services to Indiana State employees and their families. If you are not sure that you are eligible to join, please contact us!
Unlike banks which pay profits to their stockholders, we are able to return earnings to our members in the form of higher dividends, lower loan rates and improved services. We are committed to the credit union philosophy of "Not for profit, not for charity, but for service."
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires that all financial institutions obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who does business with them.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
When you open an account or transact business with the credit union we may ask you for your name, address, date of birth, and other information to identify you. We may also ask for a copy of your valid, un-expired driver's license, or other photo ID, or any other information we may need to verify your identity.
THIS CREDIT UNION IS NOT FEDERALLY INSURED, AND IF THE INSTITUTION FAILS, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT DEPOSITORS WILL GET BACK THEIR MONEY.
